how often to change water / food?

Do I have to change the food / water bowls daily? This is the only time I go in the tank and I'm trying not to bother my guys.

The frequency of water change-outs depends entirely on the size of the dish/bowl your using but ideally the water should be change at least every three days to keep up the quality.Dry foods can be left for two consecutive nights while wet/moist foods should be changed out daily.You'll want to rotate different foods so that your hermitcrabs don't stop eating.

Thanks so much. That's pretty much what I've been doing. I read on another site that I should change both water bowls daily. I'd hate to disturb them that often. The food bowl & treat shells are easy to change, but the water bowl is pretty deep into the sand. Again, thanks.
