Betta Water Conditioner?

Sure it's not API. I found one for them. I thought they had tap conditioner, but you had to by the ammonia detox. separate. If I remember correctly, they are good about making a bunch of stuff for one purpose and not just combining them.I think I may have seen the Reptisafe before at PetSmart. I'm not 100% sure, but I do know I have seen it somewhere.

@dylan, no it was the aqueon line but this was two years ago I believe when I was checking around and found a bottle of the tap water conditioner at my local mom and pop shop and it listed that the ammonia detoxifier had to be purchased separately.I guess they re-did their line and combined the ammonia detox in with the regular tap conditioner.

@Crabber, they may still make a separate thing who knows. I use API. I just like it when they combine it all into one because that is less chemicals into the tank and more ease on me. :P

So we have been to walmart and target and back already. They only had a turtle one but it only removed chlorine. So, I asked my mom to pick up some stress coat for them soon. We buy in bulk because with a 300 gallon tank you use it very quickly. Lol

If you have well water, then this is what you need to look for. I use it and it does work. It removes chlorine, chloramine and heavy metal. If you have a well then odds are if you ever treat it you use bleach which is chlorine. You won't have chloramine, so you won't have ammonia.http://www.walmart.com/ip/Tetr...ans-3.38-oz/16940360It will be easier if you just get one for your own personal use instead of using the bulk for the big tank. You will always have it on hand because you only use about 4 drops per gallon. I have only use 1/4 of mine and it's been a year.Call ahead and see if they have it. If not, shipping to the store is free. Why are you getting stress coat?If you have city water then, you may have to either order online, or just go to a petstore and buy one that also removes ammonia. Which ever you do, it will end up being easier on you to have your own. For me it is a lot easier to keep the fish stuff and crab stuff separate.

We buy giant bottle of that for our big one and when you buy in bulk from the tank place we get it from you get a little bottle free. Like the noemal size. And since we cleaned the tank out the other day we are out and need to restock.
