Fresh Shrimp?

I got a few big gulf shrimp today, shell and tail on. Do you cook yours or give it raw? Do I need to cut it up or can I just put it in there whole?

just put one in whole with shell and tail still on raw

As long as the shrimp isn't salted you don't have to do anything to it just give it as is.Most shrimp suppliers will salt their shrimp which helps to keep them fresher longer and this can be addressed pretty easily all you need to do is rinse the shrimp in some dechlorinated fresh water and serve.

I take a frozen one, run it under water for 30 seconds, and pop it in the tank. In the morning it's teleported across the tank!
