Talia changed shells!

Talia is the tiny rescue from a Petco customer. I swear I wasn't looking to adopt her just help get her in better conditions. The woman was so relieved as were her two kids. I thought she hadn't made it after digging down in proper conditions after eating a piece of egg as big as she is. I went looking for her, found her alive and put her in the tank with the majority of the crabs. She seems to really like being with the group and today she changed out of her painted shell! I am so proud of my itty bitty fighter!

That's always a great feeling, I love it when my hermit crabs change out of those bad shells! If only there was a way that you could remove the paint for good! Even though some places claim that they're pain is non-toxic and it's like can I please see the results for that? But yay crabbie!
