If the temp reading without a pad or heat lap is 75 does it need to be on?

If the temp reading without a pad or heat lap is 75 does it need to be on?

Still waiting for uth to come in the mail until then all I have is a heat lamp witch I know is bad. If it's warm enough like 74-80 degrees without its help does it need to be on?

No, you wont need it if the temp inside the tank is in that range but make sure it is in that range all the time. Mine get turned off for the summer unless we have a cold snap at night. Then fairly early in the fall, Columbus day time frame, when the leaves change, I turn them back on.
