Can Loneliness be harmful?

Post by saberkitty » Wed Jul 02, 2008 7:34 am

Stormy is all by himself again now that Bash has moved back to the main tank. While they were together, they hung out under the log together. Now Stormy is just perched on the empty shells, staring into space. I'm considering going back for the rest of his freinds. They had 3 more E's left, all from the same batch, so I know they'd be okay together. What does everyone think?

Can Loneliness be harmful?

If you're asking if Stormy might be happier with some friends? Yeah. If you're asking if we think you should go get his pals? Yeah again! Crabbers don't know the word no and hermits love company. Three friends would be good so with four hermits even if one or two are down, at least they still have a chance at some companionship.Loneliness does appear to impact activity and probably does impact health and longevity. I think so anyway.

You know what my answer is. I have found as long as you have deep enough substrate and plenty of second levels, overcrowding should not occur. I think the second levels are of a little more importance though.
