Yes I would suggest leaving them alone and it is quite possible all are molting. As for the heat when using a uth pad its 2-3 times the size of the tank. there's a variety of factors that come into play such as the temp of your house and outside temps. I don't have a bigger tank but would suggest placing a heat lamp/light and some uth pads on the opposite end of the light. A larger tank is good because you can keep one end warmer and the other cooler. Most crabs prefer temps around 78-82. Trying not to get above 85 or below 75 as this would be too hot or too cold to stay in for long periods of time.
