Hermit Crab Sizing Chart
Hey all,I was asked to share a sizing chat so here it is. It takes a minute to load because it's a printable document that you set your hermits on. You can bookmark it under favorites or print and file it. Do know that it's someone's interpretation of what the sizes should be and may not reflect the views of everyone.http://lennon.csufresno.edu/~esperance3 ... hartV2.doc

Hermit Crab Sizing Chart
Here's my favorite chart:***Written by AngelDust**here's my own chart that i've devised over the past six months i've been crabbing..... i don't know if it'll help approximately but it should employ your common sense:*if you decide to give the crabs black eyed beans as a treat and a wayward bean you dropped knocked out one of your crabs and covers him entirely, you know you've got a Micro (and yes this has happened before....which is why i named my little one, Black Eyed Pea)*if you pick up a piece of cork bark because you figure it's time to clean it and the angry chirp of a crab meets your ears and you just THEN realize that a crabbie was sitting on it, you know you've got a teenie/tinie.*if you wake up in the middle of the night to scratching noises, and see a hermie crawling upside down on your tiny grid screen lid.....you know you've got a small.*if your hubby or father (in my case) says "what the heck is my golf ball doing in your hermit crab tank?", you know you've got a medium.*if you wake up in the middle of the night to sounds of splashing water and you creep up to your hermie cage to see what's going on, and you see one of your crabbies climbing on top of the fake tree and cannonballing into the "drinking pool" and splashing water all over the other hermies, you know you've got a large....*if you wake up in the morning and find a crabbie sitting on your face, look over and see that the lid of the tank has been completely flipped off...you KNOW you've got a jumbo...in that case you better pull out the duct tape.Sheeee Bop! Here's the one I go by:pea sized - microUnder dime = Teeniedime up to nickel = TinyNickel up to Quarter = SmallQuarter up to Golfball = MediumGolfball up to Baseball = LargeBaseball and up = JumboBut the first one is funnier Sandra
