Is petco hermit crab ramp bowl big enough for them

If it is like this, then No, it is not. Mine prefer Gladware with river rocks and shells in the bottom and needlepoint canvas on two sides to make getting in and out easier. It is cheaper as well.

How come this wont work isnt it big enough

It is not deep enough. They need to be able to get in and have the water come up over their shell opening, preferably higher.

I agree with Geranium the ramp bowl is just not deep enough, you really want your water dishes to be at least half the hight of your largest crab at rest so that the crabs can fill their shells and bathe properly.

If you really wanted to you could use it as a food bowl though. But I personally use the Gladware or Ziplock plastic bowls since they're cheaper for water and a flat shell for food.

What if their crabs are micro? It can also be used for other things if not a water bowl.. food bowl to keep it off the substrate..

@GeraniumDo you buy needlepoint canvas online or in a craft store? I don't know anything about it... I'm concerned I might get something that might not belong near food and water. They make them out of different substances right? Is there anything more specific I should look for?

Craft store, Walmart, etc for the needlepoint canvas. Mostly it is made of plastic, I use the clear so I don't worry about the coloring agents.
