I said excuse me.. I AM THE ONLY ONE TO HAVE CRABS! they are mine I take care of them..

My kids keep talking about an intervention. I have a 55 gallon in the living room and a 40 gallon in the kitchen. I check on them at least twice a day checking their temperature. When I changed the tanks over I had 5 different tanks while waiting for the ones I knew were alive to come up in 3 of them. I am settled for now. I love the 55, it is fun to decorate.

@Miko, nice haul a 67gal is an odd find to say the least as it a custom size rather than an on the shelve size and can go anywhere from $200 to $390 depending on the manufacturer.I started out with a ten gallon then moved up to a thirty gallon long after several years, then to the forty gallon breeder in just a couple of years and now after using the forty for about three years I'm using a 129 gallon long that was given to me for free because the guy who'd had his fish in it could not take it with him when he moved back to Alabama. The 129 gallon is also a custom build running anywhere from $1000 to $2500 because it came with a custom built stand, glass lids, lights and hood cover to match the stand.I had to trash the hood cover because it had grown black mold from where the water from the filters had been splashing back up on to it for so long.I've had a lot of people look it me like I'm crazy when I break out my camera to show them pictures of my new enclosure and then tell them what its for and their like seriously you did all that for some bugs.lolI keep my hermitcrabs in my bedroom the sounds of them moving and bumping around throughout the night help me to sleep and believe me when people actually get to see my enclosure up close and in person they get freaked out because of the size of my hermitcrabs hence the need for such a large enclosure.lol

I ditched my hood cover just cause it was so heavy to lift on and off if I needed to get in the whole tank and it makes the tank taller and I am short so reaching in was harder to. it made it look really nice, it's in the spare bedroom. I dig it out once in awhile. I am over the re decorating so much and checking on them very much.. just check once at feeding time and go eh...
