Eco-Earth attracting fungus gnats?

Post by Hermitcrabgirl » Tue Dec 31, 2013 3:53 am

I have read that ee attracts fungus gnats. I almost bought it, but I didn't want to risk it so I bought t-Rex crab island jungle bed forest blend. Will that attract fungus gnats too? And does ee even attract them or is that just a myth?

I have had gnats in sand to, you have to keep the food out of the tank when it's not feeding time and check your moss to if your using it . I have found the gnats on my real wood to crawling on it. They love warm humid conditions to, also very important if your crab tank is near the kitchen to keep the trash taken out and dirty dish done up and if you have veggies and fruits out don't let them rot. your plants will also serve as a nesting place for the bugers to. not a good idea to bring plants from out doors to inside. bout the only time I get them is summer time..
