HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Hubby's meal planning and digging through the fridge. He spied a bag he thought was romaine or some other produce only to reach in and pull it out and find it's a gallon sized ziploc of hermie food. Next shelf up he finds a pair, one of Trader Joe's organics and another from one of our fab hermie food suppliers. Third time's a charm as he fishes out yet a smaller fourth bag of mixes from an HCA member that I met at a mini convention over Christa's.He snarls, "We've got more hermie food in here than we do our own."It was a bit of an eye opener for me, I didn't realize just how much I had but I have to admit I was chuckling silently at how spoiled my hermies are.

That's pretty good CA! At least he "looks" for food! My DH opens the frig and if it doesn't reach out and bite him (fortunately nothing has yet! LOL), he says "what do we have to eat?..."I can't find anything". On a side note....should I be refrigerating all the hermie food? So far, I only have if the label says to.

Some of my selections have said 'keep refrigerated' and because I'm too lazy to keep track I refrigerate all of them Annamy, probably unnecessarily.

I don't see a problem here.

I threatened to switch the worm castings for my husband's coffee!

I joke about getting a dehydrator to do my own fruits, veggies, etc. Hubby said " The fruits and veggies are for us!" Um, well, yeah, maybe!
