8 crabs in a 20 gallon tank help!

I have 8 crabs in a 20 gallon I cannot upgrade is there I way I can accomadate them,2nd story my tank is 13 inces tall really need help cant upgrade

How big are the crabs? Definitely add 2nd level, the more space they have the better.

You can add things to climb like nets, I just take my nets and drape them over the back and when I put my lids and lights down it creates tension.plastic shower shelves with wood going up. Make one end deeper with your substrate if no one is molting. You can always put the word out you need a bigger tank. That's how I got mine, my cousin New a friend that had a 55 gal and needed to get rid of it. If you have facebook ask your friends if they know anyone. You would be surprised
