Does anyone know if petstores sell painted shells that are well painted and dont chip

Carved one are better if you're looking for pretty shells. Because of the sand and the constant tunneling in it and such, I dont believe you can get painted shells that won't chip. Not worth the risk.

Unfortunately there are no such things a safe paints or sealants when it comes to hermitcrabs.
