Goodbye Charity

My mom's hermit crab Charity died today. She called me this morning crying and said that he was sitting naked in the food dish and was completely still. Now she's worried about her other crabs.I bought Hope, Faith, and Charity for her back in February, and she added Justice and Virtue to her collection last month. Charity was the only one whose species we were unsure of. He looked like he could be either a Cavipes or a Rugosus, or maybe a half-breed. My mom had them in her classroom for a little while, but they entertained her at home most of the time. She told me that Charity was different from the others in that he just sat around and never molted although he definitely needed to. Maybe he was ill from the very start.In any case, he will be missed very much.
