So here is my hermit crab story. I had gotten one when I was little but had not look up online if I was doing it right because I was little and I am not sure why. So I did wat the pet store told me he needed. Sadly that hermit crab died. I didn't get another one for two years. I finally got another one which ended up being sick and died in a week. I haven't gotten one since being afraid I was doing something wrong. I have started looking up everything about my animals. I was going to get two hermit crabs next year when I had everything ready. Surprise! My mom and sister came home with a hermit crab in chinese take out container from a boardwalk shop. Thankfully he is very fine adn wquite social. We soon after got him a friend who we quarantined They just met today and are having so much fun. My boardwalk hermit crab. ( Named houdini) Is more active and eating more than ever. The new hermit crab is a normal hermit crab who as soon as the store let me hold him to check health he pinched me. HE was starving! We decided to get him the lady who gave him to me must of thought I was crazy because I just had a large hermit crab pinch me very hard. Soon as we fed him he was the friendliest guy He is a sweetheart. I haven't sexed them and am not sure if I will. The hermit crab is named Hermie or his " street name" is pincher. XD So there names re Houdini & Hermie.
