New to hermit crabs

Post by jasonmom » Mon Jun 24, 2013 11:43 am

Ok, so I'm one of those mothers that got her kid some hermit crabs not knowing what I was doing . I atleast came home and read up a bit. We now have six very small purple pincher hermit crabs in a 10 galon tank. I'm using sand a substrate, they have some extra shells, a grapevine to climb on, and a wicker basket to climb on and hide under. Three have already changed shells (I'm looking to buy more shells). I'm looking at the food lists and will try hard to give them something new each day to eat. I'd like to thank you all for this site for all the helpful information I've gotten so far. I'll keep reading to learn how to treat the new little guys well. Anyone who would like to pass on information to this newbie please feal free.
