My crab molted. Now is lying naked int he sand.

One of my bigger crabs has been down under the sand for a while. I accidentally dug her partially out two days ago and put her right back in the same spot. The next day she was not in her shell and was lying in the sand next to her shell, in a shallow hole, but not covered with sand at all. She is very light pink and moves her abdomen and legs a little bit. I have had my crabs for about 8 years and have never seen this before. I don't usually bother them at all while they are molting and I'm so upset that I disturbed her. Could she just be letting her exoskeleton re harden? How long does this take with larger crabs? Do they usually stay out of their shells while hardening? Can I do anything to make the process less stressful for her? I have separated her from her buddies so she is not bothered. I am very concerned and any help would be appreciated.

Has she eaten all of her exo? If so you can put some organic honey and/or some mashed banana in for her. Right now she needs quiet and dim to dark and humid. My smaller ones that were in this situation took about a week to a week and a half before they were moving around normally. A few days and they were eating, etc.
