Climbing object?
Climbing object?
Would it be a bad thing to place a branch from our blackberry bush for a climbing object? It's dried from last year's bush, not touched by pesticides.

I know that the fruit, leaves, and flowers are okay because they are on the "safe food list" in the forum, but I'm not sure about the wood or bark. I'm curious to know as well!

I guess we'll see if someone posts for us!

I don't know positively, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Crabs are pretty good at knowing what's good and bad for them as far as foods. Or so I've read on here somewhere. But, with no pesticides, I'd try it. If they seem to avoid it, take it out. If not, I wouldn't really worry unless it's related to cedar.

Can you do something to dull the thorns? Like snip off the tips of them with scissors?
