I recently got a new crab and he dug himself under the substrate right away, and he hasn't come up since (its been almost two weeks).
He also had some limbs missing, so could he be molting or just de-stressing? Theres no fish smell.

Re: New crab de stressing?
Dont worry just yet ^^ I understand the concern though. Two of my four stay buried most of the time, and they're just getting acclimated. Just give them time, they will be okay im sure. Make sure to offer all the essential super foods, keep water available, and after a little while they will resurface. Whether they stay surfaced or not is questionable. Smeegle and shellshock come up just to refresh and then they are right back down into the substrate.
