bubbler pools? You connect an air stone onto the end of aquarium piping which is connected to the pump. They're not needed but they can help with humidity, and some members have found they're crabs like playing in the bubbles.

Making your water sources into bubble pools also keeps the waters fresher for longer, since it keeps them aerated.

Your tote 'tat looks great! Those short ball canning jars look like a versatile size, I haven't seen them before. Did you decide to try them for pools? Might make a nice moss pit, turned on its side (I have seen that idea done with small fish bowls).

I am going to make a pool out of a ball jar. Jam making season is here so you can buy more shapes and sizes of jars. I need to find the perfect one. I have a small pump now so any day!

I have an idea for a bubble pool. I melted a comb to make some "steps." (On the down-low I am trying to do this on the cheap.) Do you all think that will work?

Yes, anything that allows them to grab on and climb out, and which will stay securely in place with crabs pulling on it, will work. A plastic comb "ladder" is a good idea. My only question is whether it might slip, but if you anchor the one end in the substrate it should work well.
