This tank is just CRAZY, I love it. The design of the levels shown in the more recent pics gives me a lot of ideas, which is bad considering I just finished up a tank build

Your crabbies are lucky to have someone so committed to their care. I'm sure they appreciate it. Great work, just wanted to show my love for your efforts.

I really want to make a tank similar to this, but about half the size. Thanks for the inspiration!

OP hasn't posted in a year so don't expect a response any time soon. He's been a member for 11 or so years, but unfortunately last year his mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and he hasn't posted in a long time. We hope everything is okay and wish him the best. We miss you Kip!!!

Thank you so much! I think you're going to love getting hands-on and building something that both you and your crabs will get to enjoy!
Please keep me posted!

I sure am crazy!
Haha! Isn't that how it always? You get your tat done and you think it's perfect but then you see this or see that which leads to an totally different or even better idea! It's awful!
Thanks, I am lucky to have them! They're such fascinating creatures! I love them! Thanks again!

Call me strange but I can stand in front of The Crabitat for hours just staring into it.

Well, after crabbing for almost fifteen years you kind of just come across them  from rescues, to adoptions, trades or purchases, that's the great thing about HCA!
I'm honestly not entirely sure on the entire cost. There may be mentions of prices on earlier posts in this thread, I don't recall, I apologize.

Thank you! I miss everyone so much! Something just told me to log in today, it's nice to see that everyone and c everything is still here!
I apologize for my absence, trying to manage through life has been quite a challenge. Luckily my mother is doing well, her hair is growing back in and she's attending her lymphedema therapy, she's been really strong.
They did a mastectomy on her right breast, she's been getting chemo and actually has her last round this month! I'm wishing and hoping and praying that this battle is done with and that she's won. The oncologist will run tests after the final chemo and then we'll go from there, whatever the next step may be...
It's been hard to juggle working nights, coaching at the high school, sleeping, and taking care of my mom, getting her to her appointments and whatnot. But the bills gotta get paid and the crabs gotta eat!
I'm grateful to still have my mom around and I appreciate everyone's thoughts, prayers and support. I'll reply to your emails and messages as soon as I can, I promise!

How's everyone doing!? How are your crabs!?
Did anyone get crazy and build something like this?
Thank you all, reading this has made me really happy.
