Lmao to funny!!!
I just got a bunch of green turbos realizing my crabs weren't very interested in the gorgeous murex shells (The swirly ones) I originally provided them with.... My original (currently in a murex) was eyeballing one for a good twenty minutes. After realizing there were more in the cage he went crazed around the whole cage looking at every new shell...
Vid wont upload but here's a pic..
He still went with his shell [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES]

Here's Capt. Jack getting ready for a climb on the blackberry branch. That's his favorite!! And yes he changed from the green shell haha like within 2 days of his original change! Crazy guy!!
Also I've noticed that his feelers go crazy & he watches me intensely when I lightly tap with my finger nail on the glass near him. Almost like "hey what's up" Anyone else had this experience, or is glass tapping, even lightly, bad for them?

Captain Jack is looking good in his new shell!! I can't say that mine want to communicate with me. 2 out of 3 run away as fast as they can go and the third just really doesn't care if in there or not!

2 out of four scuttle away when they see me. Shelldon and Godzilla are by far my friendlier crabs lol but shellshock and smeegle are coming around. They dont run near as much as they used to.
-------
2 small pp, smeegle (m), shellshock (m); 1 small/medium pp, shelldon (f), 1 medium/large pp, Godzilla (m)
1 dog, bender the min pin. And one betta named Henry. I dont know if its a boy or a girl, its still pretty young.

I do rather like his newest shell compared to the green. Looks smart on him!
@pandaincognito He's slowly coming around to where he doesn't zip back inside when I come near. I'll stick around & he comes out with feelers going as I begin tapping lol

Very nice tank Jenn...
Unfortunately i had four up and three down.. One went down yesterday and my shelldon changed into a new shell and he is showing molting signs [FACE WITH COLD SWEAT]
Filled up in the salt water dish filled up with food...
Don't know for sure as I've yet to FINISH a molt (my littlest is still down but successfully molted and alive!!!) Is it weird for a crab to change and then molt?!

I was absolutely terrified the first couple of molts. I have had my crabs since July 2014 and I'm actually not sure how many I've gone through now...my crabs like to bury so they are down more than they are up and they can't possibly be molting every time. I know they all have though because their size differences from when I bought them are incredible! It's always hard when they are down though bc you just never know. All you can do is trust they know what they are doing. I'm now at a point where I am fine if I don't see a crab for 4 or 5 months bc sometimes they are down that long! Lol

Ugh ive got a while before ill be half as confident lol!!!
I was scared because the last crab that went down is new and a bit of a bully i was scared he was going after molters because i saw a hole in the sub. Upon investigation i realized that hole was way to all for go him and found a piece of exo... So fingers crossed hopefully it will be soon that he comes up
