^^ im having the hardest time finding coconut flour!! Lol, today im going to see what my local WalMart has. There are many super centers twenty minutes down the highway and since we are going there tomorrow I will for sure be able to get what I need then. I am going through a lot, but I feel so much better, other than the drama erupting with work (thats why I haven't gone there to get the flour, so mad, I might do something they'll regret. No shame, can't bring me down!)

Humans want their baked goods to rise, but I'm not sure if it's all that critical to animals.

Well, I was going to feed them to my man as well lol but I don't think he cares. He will eat just about anything, happily. Even if it tastes terrible, he always goes back for seconds xD except fish, he hates fish. Hehe, cookie roulette....

@pandaincognito that sounds like mine too, but he loves seafood. He is a LOT less picky than I am with weirder foods

I made a half batch of cookies, using the back of the oatmeal box as a guide. I was not happy with the results and threw them out. The temp was too high, or the cookies were too moist. Instead of vanilla and cinnamon i used honey. They burnt on the bottoms, but the center was still uncooked. Attempt two comes tonight

Maybe cook them at a lower temp for longer? Or somehow make them less moist, idk. If I have a recipe I can make just about anything with practice, but I wouldn't say I'm a baker.

I suggest looking at oatmeal dog cookies, and just make the ingredients are on the safe list... that way somebody else has experimented for you. Or, try a really low temp for a long time, maybe more like "drying" the mixture instead of actual baking.

I think I want to attempt biscuits, based off my moms whole grain cookie recipe for dogs. She might even give me her gluten free ingredients xD what i made last night was pretty terrible lol
