First successful molt
I owned lots of crabs when I was younger, and I've always loved them. When my bf and I went to Pensacola Beach about a month ago, I found TONS of sea crabbies. Playing with them made me miss my crab friends and when we came back from vacation I decided I would get more. This time, I made sure I did my research to build them a proper crabitat. We have an awesome aquatic store a mile down my street and I picked out 3 small/medium PP's. (Jack, Kraken and Sebastian) They live in a 29 tall gallon tank. When I got home I noticed that Jack was missing a leg. He is my favorite of the 3 because he is very social and isn't afraid of me handling him at all. I felt so bad that my little guy's leg was missing. It was no surprise to me that 2 days after bringing him home he went down for a molt. He was down for exactly 3 weeks. On Tuesday he popped back up and he has a new leg!! I'm so proud of my little guy. He has been super active and is able to climb so much better now. Here he is!! http://imageshack.com/a/img923/2474/3Kw9UI.jpg

Totally!! I didn't think 3 weeks was long enough but when I picked him up I was so surprised!! Now I'm just waiting for the other 2 to pop up... They went down a few days after Jack did. I can't wait to see them again!!
