I had the idea of cutting up my single cork-bark second level in favor of turning it into two platforms.
I'd like to put a corner shower-caddie in the corner, no less, and next to it a cork bark half-platform. Next, to it will be the slopped cholla log that gets them up here in the first place. Then, another platform. And then it basically ends there. Perhaps under these, I can put a spare piece of aquarium wood I have, with some plants attached for nice visuals and more climbing stuff.
I'd also like to extend the pools to reduce the climbing angle the crabs have to compete against when going swimming. After months, I've not seen one crab ever in it.
I'd like to make this easy to move, and remove as well.
Opinions, ideas, suggestions? I have many amazing crabitats from the Pictures forum to thank for inspiration.

Your plans sound pretty good to me. How did it turn out?

Very cool idea! Never even thought about splitting the cork bark! Maybe use some zip ties to attach some things together for more stability? I'm thinking of doing the same with making my pools lower. I have zip tied craft mesh to them which I like because it is so flexible. Would love to see some pictures of what you created!

OP hasn't logged in for about 3 months, so I'm not sure if we should expect a response any time soon.
