Well.....Peanut has been down for 5wks, Capt. Jack for a week (his second molt within a month now). It's such a QUIET tank!!!!!

Why hermit crabs are affectionately referred to as "pet sand".

Just wait until you acquire more haha.... If you Do end up with more Don't put them in ur bedroom if you are a light sleeper!! They clank around the tank all night. Shells clinking the glass, pushing each other off limbs, small chirps etc.

Yeah, same deal here! 2 molting since beginning of the month and 1 has been just digging around and popping up every few days. I can see why and how people end up with more hermies! I would love to have at least some roaming the tank while others molt. Seems like our guys like to molt around the same time. Maybe they know my memory sucks so they are making it easier on me?! :hlol: Holding out on more hermies though :) Only have a 20 g tank and I think that it is perfect for our 3 guys and when they are all out, the 20 g seems so small!
