Crabitat substrate question?

Post by AislinKnight » Mon Jun 20, 2016 5:53 pm

Alright, quick question, guys, I have coconut fiber that I've used as a substrate before but I had to change my crabbies to another tank because I made the mistake of spraying it with some 'probiotic spray' cause I thought it'd help. I've dumped water in it, dumped the water out and repeated a few times until the smell was gone. Wpuld I be able to use it and the sand I'm using now? Or dump it all in the trash and start over? I can't use just sand cause I'm scared it would tip my desk over. So can someone help?

I would just start over, honestly. A 3 pack brick of EE is less than $10 in most pet stores.

Yeah sand is like 3 bucks a bag, and the bricks are super cheap too. Replace it.
