Naked all day...won't go in a shell...so we shall c how this goes

Lol that's what I've been saying...he still eats n drinks and crawls all over very strong...who knows...I hope he does get it together soon it's been since Memorial Day...I just separated out other one from him in case he's being picked on now that he's come up from his molt a few days ago so fingers crossed it fixes it

So far still naked...it's been 48 hours since he's been in a shell and could possibly be more depending on when he came out of it

Yes it's been about 6-7 days...he's still eating and drinking and very active at night just as if he had a shell on...praying he decides to get in a shell or molt and figure it out but as of now he's living his life pantless

Some type of progress...not fully in..,just hanging out BUT he's "in" a shell...that's more than he's been in 8 days!

I will second Mool, if turbos are offered I think he would be more likely to take a shell, they are better suited to their abdomens. Specifically silver carved turbos or pearled turbos as they tend to be lighter.That being said, but I fear something is probably wrong with the lil guy, and the best you can do is just wait.... hoping for you!!

He has 4 turbos available to him...that was an old pic...
Possibly something wrong however it's now been 9 days and he's still alive...hoping he gets his act together.

Can you please fill out the emergency questionnaire so that we can help figure out why this crab will not stay shelled.

Also from the pics you've shown, almost none of your shells are appropriate for land hermit crabs. I see a few that may be, but they don't look like they are large enough for your crab.

I already filled out one when this started and gotten sev new shells that are appropriate and he's still doing this. I'm not sure if I can find the thread and tag u in it?
