mixing prime for one gallon?

yeah i did a half ML so i injected the prime into the syringe in the middle of the 1 ML line aka half of a ML
from what i read thats supposed to be the amount needed, if its a little too much i hear its ok as it doesnt hurt them
just want to make sure I have added enough to kill the bad stuff.

im driving my wife nuts i've spend the last 2 months every day
focusing all my attention on these crabs hahah. Trying to get everything
110 % perfect for them. I've spent over 700 dollars so far on EVERYTHING
like switching tanks 3 times hahah.

Honestly, you're overthinking things and stressing yourself out a bit.

An eyedropper would have been fine. Nothing is black or white in the crab world, there is a fair bit of room for nuance. The only thing that is honestly set in stone is that Instant Ocean is 1/2 a cup to one gallon of water.

Your temps can fluctuate but as long as they're above 80 and lower than around 92 (if you have E's), then you're okay. Your humidity can be between 80 and 100% and your crabs are going to be okay.

As long as you feed them a variety of foods off the safe list and make sure they have protein, calcium, and chitin sources in addition to leaf litter/veg, they'll be okay.

We offer suggestions and recommendations but very few absolutes. There is no "one size fits all" way of crabbing.

thanks what if the temps reach 78 for a bit? thats not safe?

Mine fluctuate from 76-85. Seems to be lowest during early morning hours. I like to try to keep everything around 80 so I've been messing around with the bubblers and decreasing fan frequency. Trial and error!

gotcha cos the post above made it seem like you cant go below 80.
mine is usually 78-80 and my humidity hasnt hit below 80 at all yet and
is usually 85, it hit 90 for a bit when i added giant moss pit to the tank
but i just uncovered a little more plastic on the top and it has evened out to
about 85.

Prime is 2-5 drops per gallon depending on how heavily treated your tap water is. I would use no more than 5.

I use 2 drops of Prime per gallon with no issues. We have generally clean city water from a river source, last I checked the data, so I feel like Prime is handling it well. I use distilled water for our saltwater supply (with Instant Ocean), but I just use city water with Prime for the freshwater bowls.

thanks yea i just get nervous because our water isn't the best here.
I'm considering just keep using bottled water and adding prime for extra safety
to be 100 percent confident everything is cool, in fact yeah im gonna do that.
