Wanting to expand my 20 gallon long tank

Hello all! I currently have 1 PP and 2 E's in a 20 gallon long tank. With the 6" of substrate, there is not much air space left. All 3 crabs are relatively small but I am looking to expand my tank to provide a second level and more space for my crabbies.

With a very limited budget, what are my options for expanding my 20 gallon long tank?

What you need to do is watch out for the $1.00 pet gallon sale at Petco and maybe buy a taller tank. I was in the same situation as you a few months back but ran across this display model price to clear at PetSmart that is 65g tall and now I have 3 levels. It was a huge ordeal but so glad I did it. They love all the levels.

Since I've been crabbing I've seen it like once a month. Maybe call your local Petco and see when the last one was and if they can tell you when the next one is.

Craigslist to find some second hand cheap fish tanks! Some probably right near you too, and at great prices/deals.
