Is it ok to bake a small amount of sand in a toaster oven ?

Is it ok to bake a small amount of sand in a toaster oven ?

I'm going to add an inch of sand today my oven is broke is it ok to bake flukers pre mixed sand in a toaster oven ? The bag was opened and sealed with in 2 other bags but i wanna be safe.

I'm sure it's just like a normal oven, it isnt really flammable so I think you should be good. If it's never been used I wouldn't worry though, remember crabs don't have sterile anything in the wild. :) People usually only bake substrate when there's a flood/ bacterial bloom or an infestation of some sort.
