I really like this set up -- it's very soothing to look at and I'll bet the crabs love that 3rd wall!

Here is my 29 gallon set up, not much room with everything in it.
The cork round is curved and is the favorite hiding spot for the crabbies. But when one slips at the top or is startled and retracts into its shell, the three PP's all roll down and out the bottom. The sound of it makes me laugh out loud.
I do not see them in either moss pit too often but they leave 'evidence' that they do visit.

Thanks Crabinski . It is a very comfortable looking tank and the crabs love the 3d wall. They are always hiding out in it.

You shouod.ditch the pellets i see in the pic and consult the care guide for safe.foods. Also you should think about adding deeper water pools as they need to fully submerge and those.are def not deep enough.

I don't feed them the pellets, it's just there with the sponges because I keep forgetting to put it away. They didn't like them anyway, so I never give them In the pics above, there's watermelon in the food dish. Today it's rice & peas! The water dishes are the biggest I could find that would fit in the 10 Gal, so until I can get a bigger tank those are pretty much all I have...

Get a couple deep plastic tupperware containers (I got mine at the $1 store) and stick em down in the substrate. I had a 10 gal for a while and that worked perfectly.

They'll eat the sponge? Is it good for them?

It's safe, from what I've read they'll basically move it around, munch on it, pick at it, etc.

How did you do that, take out the bottom of glass and then connect them? I might be able to do that with the two tanks I have for more room to make levels, if someone told me how.

Thank you! The tank I believe is a small/tall, but I'm not sure the exact inches. It looked so much bigger until I filled it with a bunch of stuff! And the trays are acrylic organizer trays, they're by interdesign on Amazon. The little legs are acrylic cake pop sticks I siliconed on there :)
