Saltwater bubbler

Post by Mareece » Fri Oct 07, 2016 4:51 pm

I just set up bubblers for both my fresh and saltwater pools. Will the saltwater bubbler cause problems with salt build up in the tank?

I don't believe so. I have one in my saltwater and my crabs are just fine. I don't leave it on full blast though, just enough to put in fresh air and keep the water moving.

Just keep an eye on the water level in the SW pool: in my tank, the bubbler in SW pool causes faster evaporation (and both pools are bubbling at the same rate).

I don't use a bubbler in my SWP because it evaporates so quickly. Almost 3 times faster than my FWP. I had no issues with the SWP bubbler other than quicker evaporation...
