I never knew they were so entertaining. My family is all living together currently(mom, step dad, me, my 2 daughters, brother, his girlfriend, sister, her baby and my grandmother with Alzheimer's, 3 cats, dog & 4 hermits) and they tell me I'm obsessed with these guys. I can't help our, once I get them set up right I think my obsession won't be as bad. But I find myself drawn to these guys way more than I would have expected. When they have their legs spread out they remind me of tarantulas, when they are out of their shell like aliens and all the time they are adorable. They have their own unique personalities, Gary is a bully of sorts, does what he wants how he wants no matter who or what is in his way. Yeti is a push over, she lets them both walk all over her and waits last for everything. Then we have baby biz, who sleeps all the time and has to be cuddled up next to one of the others. But when she wants someone up, she will pester then until they are.

Crab logic: ignore new edible decor, try to knock down suction cups.

Thanks you two! I adore them. I got them from Petco actually! I was shocked they had them so I scooped them up.

Here's a picture of the other one (he just changed shells again today so he matches the other one now, lol!):

Harry & Luis, sitting in a tree...
They're just perched side by side at the top of the climbing cork. Is tre cuteness!

However I can't get a picture because I left my phone at my bf's abode when I went to pick up the crebs! :(

But! They are spending the week with me while he & his fam are in *** Pair-ee, and there were suggestions that his sister's waning interest in them may mean I don't have to return them! Crabbing from across the city is not easy, so I am pretty excited - if I get to keep them.

Quince the fat tailed gecko; Amazonian minnows; and now Harry & Luis, Bede & Aster, Chandra & Jace, Pax, & Piccolo, my adopted PPs.

I honestly hope you can keep them, it sounds as if you really deserve them after all you've done for them.

Well, my youngest daughter is taking Gary to her daddy's house. I am letting her take the 5g tank, getting enough substrate in it, supplying all the bowls food accessories and shells and Gary has to move out. He attacked Yeti last night, tore her leg off, and has been picking on the baby all day. Luckily baby biz is on such a huge shell for her you can't even see her in there. The shell is about eight times too small for Gary, he is just unhappy and has been ever since he got house mates.

Aw, that sounds stressful. Total bummer. And setting up a second tank is a fair bit of work.
Any plans to improve Gary's tat long-term? 5G seems pretty small for a permanent situation.
Poor Yeti. :(
