Omg! Veteran crabbers needed!

Post by KayedeeLove<3 » Tue Nov 22, 2016 10:07 pm

Ok I know this is crazy unlikely! I think this crab is a viola!?? I'm not saying this as a newbie who has a unique crab. I'm not new to this forum it has just been a while since I've been around! Ive had this crab for about 7 months. He was always a little more shy then anyone! He's never been any color but the deep violet you see. He's always picked out 'the odd ball' shell! Now I've not been as attentive as i should be for the past couple weeks as my business has been relentless, but i swear he's got firey orange antennae and black eye stalks. He wouldn't hold very still as i never touch my crabs.

What do you think? You can see the little streak of orange but they are BRIGHT orange! Could it be hes been here all this time without my knowing?

Another of his preffered shell choices....

I guess I'm curious to see If pp can have red antennae?!

I think so to but the antennae? Im extra worried because I'm in the midst of getting an indo or two id hate to do that if i have an exotic and risk getting him a species bud because after the new additions I'm done.

Looks like a pp to me as well. My hermie also has orange antenna tips. I've been a crabber for about 2 years, so not too long...but not a newbie either.

Just in case...
