10 gallon tank question
I only could afford a 10 gallon tank. I mixed beach sand and EE about 6 inches. Have driftwood water bowls etc.
Not much land area at all. I am not the creative type, and was hoping someone could help me design a second level maybe using suction cups ir anything to better design my tat.
Please help.
Thanks

These are old pics but give you an idea... You can use shower caddy for moss pit or shell shop. Use cholla wood, bird ladder, net, or vines for access. This will give more floor space.

Re: 10 gallon tank question
That's only a 10g? Looks like a 20g long, but its hard to tell in a picture. I think it looks great, I made a second level by getting a suction cup soap dish that's almost flat, wrapped netting around out and attached a net ladder and fish net for them to climb and another second level buying a shelf for the kitchen my tank is a 20 high so it's not much longer than a 10. Are you sure yours is only a ten?

Re: 10 gallon tank question
First set of pics are old pics of 55 gal. I was trying to give ideas. Sorry for the confusion. I did however have shower caddy and lizard net set up in 10 gal. Suction cups didn't work with my lizard net so I just used command strips.

The pale netting in the photos looks like a hand-crocheted item but you can get fairly large pieces of fish net at any craft shop (Hobby Lobby, Jo-Ann, Michael's, etc) for around $5 a bag. That triangular green net is a ReptiHammock: they come in various sizes and can be found at Petco, PetSmart and, I'm sure, on eBay and Amazon. Suction-cup shower caddies can be found in dollar stores and at Walmart in the Bath section.agentcrabby wrote:Where did u find the nets and shower caddy? If amazon, pls include the link

Re: 10 gallon tank question
If you were asking me, I got the nets from etsy, type hermit crab in the search and she is the only person who makes the natural color ladders and hammocks. I got the caddies from dollar tree. I couldn't believe it. I got the fishing net hanging under the caddy from a lady on eBay who was getting rid of extra she had for her hermits.agentcrabby wrote:Where did u find the nets and shower caddy? Re: 10 gallon tank question
This is the system I have for my second/third levels.
The trays can be found on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00WR ... UTF8&psc=1
and so can the little legs: https://www.amazon.com/Weststone-50pcs- ... pop+sticks
I was having some issues with my levels leaning, so now I use ceramic magnets I bought at walmart to stop them from doing that. I'm sure if you attached the legs better than I did, you would have less problems
