Dont think they dislike it but its definitely not a favorite.

I like the dried foods too. Gonna have to read into some of the other mixs!

Have any of you tried the canned foods in water? Ie: shrimp in water. Some do have preservatives but a few dont so i was curious.

Just looking for anywhere i can add variety.

Thanks again!

I've never tried them. There is a safe one linked in the hca amazon store though on the main sites header. :D

Tonight both tanks got the same thing.
Shell one: Mineral supplement from HCP
Shell two: Soil supplement from HCP
Shell three: My mixture of dried organic leaves that contains leaves from the following: nettles, alfalfa, strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, dandelion, basil, grape and probably a few others.
Shell four: HCP basic mix with added dried organic unsweetened coconut.

of my four PPs only one is up. Tina. so i set out two dishes. One scallop shell with quail jerky (its all natural raw dog treat), blue berry yogurt drop (natural small animal treat that is made of some hermit safe berries and fruit) and calcium powder. the second scallop shell is deer dog food (all natural dehydrated dog foo made from hermit safe fruits and veggies) and a bird nut and seed mix thats all hermit safe and i cut down the nuts for Tina. i also put a little bite of banana in the moss pit since she was up there two days ago. she hid it first thing but i have to take it out tonight.

Harry is up! So I left him raw beef, honeysuckle flowers, honey, apple cider, carrot, & raw clam (Hikari frozen fish food).

since i confirmed two of my four hermits are finally up i made two scallops shells tonight. one with dried berries, cherries, honey, millet, egg protein and calcium powder. then a second dish of coconut shavings and dehydrated turkey and salmon meat with mixed in fruit and veggies. one of the hermits i cant tell if its RoxSand or Tina actually dragged bits from the second scallop on to the sub and then finally just sat in the shell for a minute or to eating. ill take that as a hermit fav.

right after posting this does Uu come out of hidding to sit and eat infront of the first shell. hahahahahaha but i know my boy loooves honey.

Mineral supplement (HCP), walnuts, coconut, nori and surf n turf (HCP - shrimp, mealworms and crickets i think).

My crabs go crazy for mineral supplement or cryshed oyster shells.

Luis is still up - which is some kind of topside record for him, I'm sure.
Harry is still down. (Paranoia is beginning to nibble at the base of my skull like a hungry mouse.)

So tonight Luis got fig, persimmon, apple, squid, clam & calcium powder. And there was still some mixed grain & pollen from the other day, so I left him that.

The hermit's racked up in their stockings. They only asked for food ;)

They got an organic oat, blueberry and peanut butter dog biscuit crushed into crumbles. Some organic vegetable and fruit dog biscuits again crumbled. Some dried meal worms. Some super worm shedding and dead ones. Then finally a living prickly pear.
