Re: 3 out of 5
I assume that Teal'C has gone down for a molt cause I have not seen him for a few days. Pinchy has not reappeared since he went down after getting his pincher cracked open by Jack before I adopted Jack out.

They are so cute : ) All three of mine just came up from molts also. I love how busy they are now exploring and eating - a lot! I have a hammock I have been wanting to use for my crabitat but I'm not sure the suction cups will hold up. How do you have yours attached??

I used command strips with mine. I never could get those cups that came with it to work.SHERRYCOOPER5 wrote:I have a hammock I have been wanting to use for my crabitat but I'm not sure the suction cups will hold up. How do you have yours attached??

I also used command hooks. Hasn't fallen down once since I did it.

Yeah. Those suction cups got on my nerves. The weight of the shells and the crabs yanking on them knocked them-down every night. The hooks work a whole lot better.

My suction cups have never once fell off. I've been lucky cuz I got them from dollar tree. If you soak then in warm water for 5 minutes it helps them stick. I can't get any to stick where the heat mat is though. I ann using hooks to hold up the hanging coco moss pit I made and I wish I had used a suction cup as I can't change its position without wasting the command hook.

Re: 3 out of 5
True it is a waste of the strip of you have to reposition but the suction cups that come with the hammock do not work no matter what you do. I tried for about two weeks but nothing helped them stick. I would put them up in the morning and the next day the crabs had knocked them down again. So i ended up switching to command hooks for my hammock and my vine. They have not knocked it down since I put them up and I am a whole lot less stressed out over it.
