50g tote UPDATE: I UPGRADED
Does anyone know where I can buy a single 50 gallon CLEAR tote? I want to upgrade from my current tote but I can't find anyone who sells a single 50g tote. They all come in packs of 3 or 4...

Wal-Mart has one. It's about $10. https://www.walmart.com/ip/16486812?wml ... 3=&veh=sem

I was going to mention either Walmart or maybe even Home Depot or Lowes

That's a 66 quart unfortunately. I've been scanning Walmart, Lowes and Hopedepot and no luck

Re: 50g tote?
Numerous smaller totes? I don't think clear totes get that big, but could be wrong.
If not, then those large black totes on it's side or clear plexi/glass lid?

I know it existed at one point in time for a fact. http://www.sterilite.com/SelectProduct. ... §ion=1
It used to be available on Amazon but it's unavailable now. https://www.amazon.com/Sterilite-gal-St ... +50+gallon

Re: 50g tote?
They have opaque black totes at Walmart at 50 gallons. But no clear ones.

Re: 50g tote?
They probably to weak and the lines were discontinued. Clear tote's are a lot more flexible/weak in comparison to solid/non opaque...PinchersAndShells wrote:I know it existed at one point in time for a fact. http://www.sterilite.com/SelectProduct. ... §ion=1

Re: 50g tote UPDATE: I UPGRADED
Haha, Aussie you got ahead of me. I did just that.
I bought a second tote (14 gallons, bringing the tote size to 46 gallons) and a plastic gutter extension. My dad helped me cut out a spot for the tube on the original tate. That plastic was thicker than I thought; if anyone else tries this look into using something other than an xacto knive, steak knife or scissors to cut the plastic...
Here it is:
The crabs were all out exploring after returning to their tank.
I adjusted the decor in the original tote to make the right side the main viewing area instead of the front.
I have a heater coming for the second tank, and so far I haven't seen any of the crabs in extension. For now I just have a small one from the original tote filling in until the new one comes in.

haha, sorry! But in saying that, it looking good! I sure they will like it in the new area. Plus you can really create a distinction between a beach side and a jungle side if you want.
haha, extensions and toppers. your all set!

Cool idea! I couldn't place anything on the floor tho. My house is like a zoo (3 small kids + 2 adults, 4 cats and 3 dogs) and with hardwood floors there's a lot of vibrations.... It's an old 1960 farm house
