Visited local store

Post by Giner13 » Fri Jan 06, 2017 7:31 pm

So I finally decided to check out a local aquarium store that has been in Knoxville for a long time but have never visited. So very cool! There are tons of fish, tank supplies, etc....even salt water hermits!! They are so cute & tiny & colorful!!!
Am thinking of upgrading my 15gal to a 20gal next week. What is a safe # of crabs to keep in a 20gal? I currently still have only the two.

Depends on the size of crabs... Most people prefer 5 gal per crab to allow room for growing.

Consider opting for either a 20L (6" longer than a 20g) or a 29g, same footprint as a 20L (30x12) but 6" taller, allowing for deeper substrate and more climbing stuff. I had 4 PPs (1 large, 2 medium, 1 small) in a 29g. If you're near a Petco, they have a $1-per-gallon tank sale going on until 1/28.
PPs are Big Enzo, Charles Paris and Mr Pinch
On the Big Beach in the Sky: Murray, Gino, Oscar, Gordon, Ignatz, Harry and King Felix the Pale
Also Mom to Imogene the Syrian Hamster
