Kind of excited to see the upcoming Superman v.s. Batman movie.

Zack Snyder the same guy who directed a lot great movies for Marvel back the late 90's early 2000's has completely re-envisioned the world and mythology of Superman with his unique adaptation on the character of the Man of Steel back in 2013, I went with my younger brother to see it because and I quote "Bro its going to be the best Superman movie ever" so I went and was not let down after all it is the Man of Steel were are watching.lolMy brother went and watched every Dark Knight movie that came out with me because I like Batman just as much as he likes Superman so I figured I repay the favor and go see this movie which was supposed to be a whole new take on the character, his origins and his life here on Earth, I must say the movie did not disappoint what with the fiasco that was the 2006 Superman Returns, gad knows why the director picked Brandon Routh his acting skills were so bad I had a hard time suspending my disbelief for the length of the movie so Zack basically erased any past Superman movie and created a unique new Superman all in one fell swoop. Now here he is three years later doing a sequel and putting my boy the Dark Knight himself in with Superman, I have to say I wasn't very happy about the casting decision I mean seriously he went with the guy who pretty much ruined the Daredevil franchise all on his own ahem Ben Afleck, personally he wouldn't have been my first choice but hey maybe old Benny will surprise me and I have already gotten to see his Bat suit the thing is wicked sick it looks like a Jim Lee Bat suit design and anybody who knows anything about this stuff knows that Jim Lee's version is the most iconic and longest used in the history of the character.I was also able to get a sneak preview of the new Bat-mobile which looks like the Bat-mobile Michale Keaton drove in the 1980's Batman Movie had a baby with the Tumbler from the most recent Batman Trilogy in short the car looks aaamazing. I can't wait to see what Zack does with the character and I know he's already planning to re-boot the Batman franchise essentially erasing the work that Christopher Nolan did from 2008 to 2013 but its got to be done because Nolan's version of the Batman Mythology does not mesh with Zack's version of the Superman Mythology and since he's got the Dark Knight riding shotgun to the big man he needs both of their worlds to line up, if you've seen the Man of Steel movie you'll notice subtle references to Bruce Wayne/Batman like a transfer truck with the Wayne Enterprises logo stamped on it and a satellite orbiting Earth barring the same logo. He'd already begun to tie to the two worlds together but now has to put the finishing touches on it to make his cinematic reality come full circle. He's already been casting for the upcoming Batman franchise and you guessed it Ben Afleck is the top contender for the role which is only logical as he is now for all intents and purposes the one and only Batman, once he dawned the cape and cowl he officially took the reigns from Christian Bale and dethroned him as the reigning champ.Jared Leto has been cast as the new Joker in the upcoming Suicide Squad movie set to release in 2016 and I'm very interested in seeing what he can do with the character after Heath Ledger blew it out of the water, I'd be hard pressed to say that there is anybody who can do it better or scarier but we will see.Joker Dark Knight Movie."You remind me of my father, I couldn't stand my father he was a drunk and fiend and one day he went off crazier than usual so my mom she grabbed a kitchen knife to defend herself but he didn't like that oh no, so he took the knife and put in her mouth with me in the corner watching and then he turned to me and said why so serious, so he comes at me with the knife and then he puts it in my mouth and says lets put a smile on that face and.... why so serious? hahaha.""You want to know how I got these scars?, one day my wife goes gambling and gets in deep with the loan sharks and can't pay her debt so they stick a razor in her mouth and do this to her, so to cheer her up I go in the bathroom and put a razor in my mouth and do this to myself and you know what she cant stand the sight of me so she leaves but you know what now I'm always smiling I always see the funny side of life. hahaha.""Do I look like a man with a plan to you, oh no I take all you planners and schemers and I turn them on themselves, I'm like a dog chasing a car I wouldn't know what do with one if I caught it.""I'm an agent of Chaos and you know the thing about Chaos is, its fair so lets introduce a little anarchy into your life. hahaha."

I'm also a really big batman fan. I was apprehensive of Afleck as the bat back when it was announced but I ended up being impressed with his Bruce Wayne/Batman. The costume was sick and he worked really well as an older more experienced and pissed off Batman. I loved the Costume. sort of a mix between Jim Lee's and Frank Miller (especially love the "fat bat" logo on the chest).
I thought Batman v Superman was good but unfortunately not as good as it could have been. I wasn't thrilled with Batmans motivation to take superman on. Felt it was more xenophobic in nature and less about meting out true justice. In Frank Millers Batman, we had a batman who was comfortable being a technically a criminal in order to do good and a Superman who was more or less a legally sanctioned "hero". I was hoping to see a similar reason for their feud in the movie.

You mentioned your admiration for Jim Lee's design of Batman. I have a statue of Batman from the Hush Story line with Lee's signature on the cape. It is one of my favorite possessions.
