
I bought a coconut a couple of months ago and forgot about it. I found it this morning and cut it open to find it went bad. The good news is the meat practically fell out leaving a nice clean shell behind. I boiled in a diluted msw solution and then baked it at 270 to dry it out.
Considering they cost around $9 plus shipping on amazon, its worth having the whole house smell like fermented coconut. My wife doesn't agree though.
