New Shells!

Post by GabyRaven » Sat Feb 04, 2017 2:28 pm

Hey guys! Got some new shells and thought you'd enjoy some pics :) ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Might use my carving bits and my dremel to make some beautiful engravings on the tapestry turbos, any suggestions for designs?

Edit: lol at my dog in most of the pics Image

Beautiful shells! Love the dog addition. One or more of children are usually in my tat pics due to reflections.

Those new shells look big and gorgeous! Your dog is so cute! I probably say those shells are big cause all I've ever had are small PP's. The ones I'm adopting are smallish medium and large so I'll probably be getting some of those shells too!

Lol, thank you! My PPs are a couple different sizes actually, I have two strong mediums (one possible large) and two smalls, so these shells are actually quite different in size when put next to each other Image If you live in SoFlo then the name of the place is Alex's Gift Shop, best place on earth!

I've never purchased shells that have engraving. I'd be curious to know if the crabs used them. Can't wait to see your artwork! :)

I have two engraved shells already, one of the dolphin and one of the turtle, just smaller than the ones I got today :) the turtle was BFG's favorite before he went down, and the dolphin was Tuna's favorite before his molt, they don't know the difference I don't think

I'd assume they'd be into anything that makes the shells lighter, since that's the kind of augmentation they're about in the wild.

Also, I love that your dog is afraid of the hermits!
"Gaze upon the rolling deep..."
Quince the fat tailed gecko; Amazonian minnows; and now Harry & Luis, Bede & Aster, Chandra & Jace, Pax, & Piccolo, my adopted PPs.
RIP Vegita :(

True yeah, though even then it's not by much, the turtle one is definitely heavier without the carving though I've held an uncarved vs a carved one and you could feel the difference

Haha yeah my dog, she's such a goofball she's scared of EVERYTHING, she's scared of my kazoo, my guitars (up until like, last year), her shadow, literally anything that moves outside, cars, loud noises, hats omg she hates hats she will jump on you and frantically kiss you as if to say "MA THERES SOMETHING ON UR HED LEMME HELP U"
