I think I haven't had issues yet because my crabs aren't super active at the moment. It's in the front corner under a plant. Everyone is down either destressing or molting, so they aren't tearing around the tank and making messes at the moment lol

I have a gnarly piece of wood atop mine, and I piled sand around the wood.
