Is Golden Sunset Sand sold by PetSmart okay for my hermit crabs?!
my mom takes care of my crabs now cause im planning college B)

I would not recommend that. According to what I looked up it is a fine grade natural gravel with living water purifying bacteria. Live bacteria will just die, causing issues. Reading the reviews, it definitely sounds like sand for live aquariums. I would not recommend it. Can you purchase just regular play sand from home depot/ lowe's?

It's plain old quartz sand and will be safe for the crabs. That said, buying a 50lb bag of playsand from HomeDepot/Lowe's for $5 will be a much better deal than $13 for a 10lb bag of the NatGeo Golden Sunset Sand.
