I know on Curlz' blog she has a list of the first successful ones for each kind. (The ones that have succeeded that is.) Give me a minute to go find it.

To counteract this rumours, here are the #FACTS:

The (worldwide) first C. clypeatus captive breedings were managed by Dany (Naalide / Germany) in 06/2015 - 08/2015.

The (worldwide) first C. variabilis captive breedings were managed by Nat Addicted to HCs (Australia) in 06/2015 - 08/2015.

The (worldwide) first C. violascens captive breedings were managed by me in 01/2012 - 03/2012.
The second C. violascens captive breedings followed 09/2013 - 12/2013.
The third C. violascens captive breedings followed 06/2015 - 08/2015.
The fourth C. violascens captive breedings followed 09/2015 - 10/2015.

The (worldwide) first C. purpureus captive breedings were managed by me in 08/2015 - 10/2015.
And then her personal successes:
my first successful captive breeding are C. violascens and it was in 2012
(12.01.2012 - 05.03.2012).

Day 97 time has flown by. They continue to climb everything in the tat and explore. I know I have 8 but I'm hoping there are still 10.

If you scroll back you will see photos earlier on this same ruler. This crab is in a shell that is over a cm long. The opening is probably bigger that the whole shell in those first pics
