What should I name my newbies?

This is where you discuss the conditions of your crabitat -- temperature, humidity, substrate, decorating, etc.

I'm a big believer on gender and then attributes

It really hard for me to determine gender. I am really hands off on holding my crabs

I really don't sex mine either (just because I'm lazy). A really good way to do it though would be to get a small pyrex dish to put him in to block his claws. Hold the dish in one hand the crabs shell in the other so he has to reach and voila... gonopores (or lack there of)!!!

I love naming things, I'm an avid writer of all kinds of fiction so names are my favorite! I can definitely help as soon as you post pics.

I don't know what mine are either. Sometimes I can see when they are climbing. I have a few that are named to personality, but I'm hands off too. Their sex doesn't matter to me.

My friend can't coax her hermies out of their shells (probably because of their care they are scared) but I will post pics when I get them. Which I don't even know when that will happen! I'll see when I find a stand!

What gorgeous crab babies! I suggest Scarlett and Rhett. Or Melanie if they both turn out to be girls. Just because the crabbie in the first pic has such a gorgeous scarlet color. And then I was kinda going with the theme...

I've sexed all my crabs. It really helped me decide what to name them. I had to inspect them anyway for mites and to get a feel for what they were like so I could see any changes if something changed with them. My first crab's color darkened significantly within a week of getting her. I might not have noticed without a really close pre-purchase inspection.

Why? It's rather easy to do yourself... once you know what to look for, it's a breeze.
