Plastic canvas sometimes called plastic mesh. You can find it at most craft stores. Wal-Mart has there's in yarn section

Got it today at Home Depot. It was only $3.20 for 50 lbs. That was the biggest bargain yet. Thanks

Wow! That's cheap! I've paid $5 for it!
Edit: I just looked and my Home Depot is way cheaper than Lowes. Good to know if I ever need more sand!
My Home Depot is cheaper on the All Purpose Sand, but more expensive on the Play Sand. Lowe's is the opposite. That's kind of funny!

You don't have a petco (any chain) or anybody in your area getting rid of their crabs on here?

The issue was that there aren't crabs in the area for adoption. You can find a petco everywhere lol.

Awe that's terrible! Try craigslist? You have to be pretty adamant about it.

Yep I would check up on Craigslist daily. Another thing you can do is go to allofcraigs.com and look for crabs relatively close to you.

More substrate questions I want to start Friday. Is it 1/50lb bag of sand to 5 bricks EE? I think that's a lot of sand but now I'm overthinking!

I used a 50 lb bag sand with 4 bricks in the ISO... I guess it depends on what you prefer texture wise. Remember you can use straight sand, straight ee, or a combination of both (and it doesn't have to be exactly 5:1 ratio.)
Edit: You just have to find what works for you!

Do you wet them separately or mixed together?

For me I didn't ha e to wet the sand. It was moist enough... I buy my ee by the brick. Put it in a big bucket add 1/2 gal marine salt water let it sit for thirty mins. Then dump in tank, add quarter bag sand to it and mix well.
It depends on how moist your sand is when coming out of bag... Some add salt water to it for mold purposes. Mine was moist enough for me.
