Hi Kuda, there are a few of us now. Natalie Van Amstel has had 4 successes with Aussies, I was unsuccessful on my first attempt but this is my second again with Aussies. Curlz has had a number of successes with a variety of species and Naddalie ?spelling has had success as well. I think they are also in Germany where Curlz is. I know there are a couple more but can't recall namesKuda wrote:Wow! I've haven't been active in the community for probably seven or eight years now... just getting back into it. Last time I was active, I hadn't heard of anyone successfully breeding hermits. This is so cool! They're so adorable. Who else has bred them in captivity? Has there been a lot? It's so nice to see successful stories like yours!

Update, my little hermies seemed to be starting to get a bit aggressive towards each other in the transition tank over the last couple of weeks. SO I have tiny crab proofed (I HOPE) my larger tank and moved 9 of them over yesterday morning. Then late last night I found a 10th baby in the transition tank so that's now 10 in total. I hadn't seen 10 for many weeks and had thought I was down to 8. I am really excited about finding the 10.

They are getting so big now. I am surprised to be seeing them quite readily in the big tat. I thought I'd loose them in the vegetation and woodwork.

Such a cool sight to see.
Will they be eventually moving into a tank with others?
